Description
Sometimes a picture says it all. This bird decided to rest in the sand right next to my Jeep's front tire. I had my camera in hand and wanted to know if it would let me take it's picture. I got out of the car and it sat still looking in the opposite direction. I started clicking away, and without making a sound, opened his mouth and turned to face me. This was the result. I got back in the car...he didn't move.

Great capture ! And I like your description... The bird did'nt want to move and tried to intimidate you. ......And.....lol... it's instrutive to see how it is made inside of his mouth : we can see something like sorts of teeth !

Thank you Cathy! That was a strange encounter. The most intimidating part was that it was absolutely silent. The picture makes it look as if he's screaming lol. :-)
