Artist's Description

The fox returned again. I saw him from my window laying down in the neighbors yard. As usual I grabbed my camera and headed for the door. He saw/heard me coming onto my back porch and started toward my yard. He had his eyes on me and nose to the ground the whole time. Instead of running through and out of the yard he kept coming closer, sniffing and staring. He got to within 15 feet of me and I realized why he was coming so close. He'd left a bird he'd hunted previously in my grass and came to retrieve it. He did and wandered away.
