Sunrise viewed from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park is something everyone should experience. Cadillac Mountain is the first place to see the sunrise on the continental east coast of the United States for most of the year. It overlooks Bar Harbor, ME, the Porcupine Islands and Bar Island. Visitors can hike up the mountain or drive to the summit. The view is one of the most amazing in New England. Covered in pink granite, you can look over the landscape and ocean below for fantastic distances.
I've lived in Connecticut my whole life. My photography started when my wife gifted me my first DSLR for my birthday in 2009. I've been hooked ever since. I've sold prints, shot events, have been featured on NBC Connecticut's Instagram takeover, and have been published in an area Travel Guide. I've won several photography contests and have been a featured photographer on several photography websites. I hope you...

Gorgeous first peek of the sun over the horizon line, Brian. Perfect companion piece to your earlier shot, "Waiting for Sunrise, Acadia National Park." Very nice! (smiles)
