Artist's Description
One of my English Setters sits in the grass patiently waiting for one of several rabbits living in the bushes ahead of him.
He was rescued from a shelter in Kansas by Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue. After some research I found that he was bred and trained to hunt along side of a hunter on horseback. He has papers and all. His former owner decided that he wasn't ranging far enough away on the hunt for his liking, so he got rid of him.
I can see the reason he wouldn't go too far. He loves people. He loves being close to people. He has a big heart and is not like any Setter I've known.
About Brian Caldwell
I've lived in Connecticut my whole life. My photography started when my wife gifted me my first DSLR for my birthday in 2009. I've been hooked ever since. I don't have any single style or specialty in photography. I tend to get interested in different things and spend a lot of time learning about and shooting those subjects. It keeps me going and doesn't get boring. From landscapes, portraits, wildlife, macro and more, there's always something to learn and explore.
